WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Each person attending the class (student AND non-student) must complete a Liability Waiver and Release form.

I fully understand and acknowledge that culinary activities such as Compassionate Cooks LLC classes and events have inherent risks, dangers and hazards and that my participation in such classes and events may result in injury or illness.

I hereby release Compassionate Cooks LLC and each of its present and former owners, principals, assistants, volunteers, members, agents and employees from any and all liability for damage, losses or personal injury to myself resulting from my participation in Compassionate Cooks LLC classes or events.

I understand that Compassionate Cooks LLC reserves the right to take photographic or film records of any of its programs, and hereby agree that Compassionate Cooks LLC may use any such photographic or film records for promotional and/or commercial purposes without any remuneration to the student/participant. The student agrees to assign all right, title and interest they may have in or to any media in which their name or likeness might be used to Compassionate Cooks LLC.

Through the act of registering online at the Compassionate Cooks website, I agree to this waiver and release Compassionate Cooks of any liability.

CLASS POLICIES

Class Return and Exchange Policy

Refunds for the cost of the class - not the processing fees - will be issued for any class up to seven (7) days prior to class date when accompanied by original receipt. Exchange will be made for any class up to three (3) days before the class date when accompanied by original receipt. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be given to no-shows or cancellations made less than three (3) days prior to the class date. Compassionate Cooks reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes. In the event a class is cancelled, all students will be notified and full refunds will be given. If a class is cancelled, you may exchange to another class within 30 days.

Waitlist

When a class is sold out, we will gladly add your name to a waitlist. If an opening becomes available, you will be contacted by phone or email. Please leave a phone number where you can be reached night or day, as well as an email address, if you have one.

Menus

We reserve the right to substitute ingredients and menu items. However, we will make every effort to remain true to our advertised menu.

Alcoholic Beverages

In classes where alcohol is served or used for recipes, no one under the age of 21 may consume alcoholic beverages.

Leftovers

For liability purposes, we do not allow students to take home leftovers or to remove food from the premises.

Misconduct and Disciplinary Procedure

Compassionate Cooks reserves the right to terminate the training of any student at any time for misconduct, theft, use of alcohol or drugs, disruptive behavior, or other reasons, as they in their discretion shall think fit.
